Bids are won or lost in the solution design.
WantedX is a solution design entity. We produce the technical solution design and the commercial business case behind RFI, RFP, RFQ and proposal responses — and we complement them with AI-native digital business solutions from our partner ecosystem. One engagement partner, one umbrella, delivered turnkey.
Speak or type — the agent takes the first conversation, an architect takes it from there.

Three things, in one engagement.
Everything below sits under a single contract with a single accountable partner — whether you are a large enterprise, a public-sector buyer, or an SMME ICT provider bidding for work you could not otherwise answer.
Technical Solution Design
The technical envelope and the commercial business case behind RFI, RFP, RFQ and proposal responses — architected on merit, costed line by line, and written to be scored well. Available project-based, or on an as-and-when retainer.
Solution design 02 — What fills the designAI-Native Business Solutions
Every solution in our portfolio is AI-native and South African-developed. Where one answers part of a requirement, it is designed into the response on merit — never because a rebate says so.
Our solutions 03 — Where the innovation comes fromThe Partner Ecosystem
Curated local innovators whose disruptive solutions we assure, design in and integrate — giving them visibility with buyers they could never otherwise reach.
Partner ecosystemTwo envelopes,
one answer.
Most responses treat the commercial envelope as a spreadsheet produced after the technical one, by different people. That is why prices collapse under interrogation.
We build both from the same architecture. The technical envelope carries the target-state design, the integration model, the non-functional and compliance position and the delivery plan. The commercial envelope carries the cost model, the total cost of ownership, the benefit case and the pricing construct. Each line in one is traceable to a decision in the other.

Intelligence is designed into the data model, the workflow and the interface from the first commit — and governed, so every model output is logged, explainable and overridable by a human.
No resold foreign vendor product with a services wrapper around it.
Every solution we design in comes from an assured partner in our ecosystem, and every one of them is built here — which means no licence lock-in, local data residency, and local content that scores in evaluation.
Our Journey
A small ICT company finds a tender it could genuinely deliver. And it loses — not on capability, but on the one thing it cannot produce: a technical solution design and a commercial business case an evaluator will score.
Architecture is the most expensive competency in this industry. A twenty-person business cannot keep an Enterprise Architect on the payroll waiting for a bid to arrive. So it does not bid — and it lives on whatever work a corporate chooses to pass down.
That is not a business.
It is a queue.
We built WantedX in 2022 to break it — a Solution Architecture vehicle an SMME can draw on as and when it is needed, on retainer rather than payroll, and a partner ecosystem that gives it something of its own to sell. We are still knowledge freelancers at heart. That is deliberate: we spent years watching good companies lose for want of the competency we now supply.

Our value pillars
Six operating principles govern every response we design.
The Design Is the Deliverable
Not a brochure, not a capability statement. A technical solution design an evaluator can score, an architect can challenge and an engineer can build from.
Two Envelopes, One Answer
Every technical design ships with the commercial business case that justifies it. A solution nobody can fund is not a solution, and a price with no architecture behind it is a guess.
Architecture Before Product
We design the target state, the integration model and the risk position first — then select what fills it. Product-led responses fail at evaluation because they answer the wrong question.
Architecture Within Reach
The competency that decides bids should not be the preserve of firms large enough to employ it. We supply it as and when it is needed, so a small ICT business can compete on the strength of its solution.
AI-Native, and Governed
Every solution we offer is AI-native by design, and every consequential model decision is logged, explainable and overridable by a human.
Visibility on Merit
Every design that carries a partner solution puts that partner in front of evaluators and CIOs it would never otherwise reach. Recognition becomes a function of capability, not marketing budget.
Which of these is you?
Four ways in. Each one asks a few short questions so the right architect picks it up, with the context already in front of them.
I have a bid to answer
An RFI, RFP, RFQ or proposal with a deadline on it. Send us the solicitation and we will tell you honestly whether it is winnable.
StartI cannot employ an architect
An SMME ICT provider that keeps declining work it could deliver. Draw on the competency as and when the bid arrives.
StartI am writing the RFP
Define the requirement, model the investment and write a solicitation the market can actually answer precisely.
StartI built something good
An AI-native product enterprises would buy if they knew it existed. The ecosystem is open, and it is judged on the product.
